Did you know that we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others?
In other words, we exist to overflow God's blessing to our community.
We believe in the power of generosity.
Brandon and Tanya Coco are a team whose purpose is to reach the outcasts of Japan through their passions with the hope of Jesus Christ. They’re still in the preparatory phase before moving to Japan. The Open Door supports them monthly as part of our Open Door Community Offering. Individuals of the church are welcome to support them as well.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. We believe that Jesus calls us to radical generosity, so we give out of the gladness of our hearts. Our church mission, “know Christ, grow spiritually, and serve others” influences every aspect of our budget.
Here's how your contribution helps:
Your donations enable us to run various programs and ministries that uplift and support individuals and families in our community.
We believe in carrying each other's burdens. Your generosity contributes to the Benevolence Fund created to meet the needs that arise within our church.
Your contributions help maintain our church building as a welcoming and safe space for worship, prayer, and community events.
We believe that the same God, who calls the individual to give, calls the church to give as well. The Open Door supports other like-minded ministries that purpose to share the gospel with those who have not yet come to know Christ in a personal way. A percentage of all giving is given monthly to the following ministries:
Alaska Missions (US)
Hope In Christ Ministry (local + worldwide)
Living Springs Faith Ministries (Africa)
Missionaries Brandon & Tanya Coco (Japan)
Ranchos Los Amigos (Mexico)
Louisiana Baptist Convention (Louisiana)
Evangeline Baptist Association (Louisiana)
Opelousas Pregnancy Center (Louisiana)
Gospel Travelers (worldwide)
You may often hear this referred to as "ODCO" the shorthand for Open Door Community Offering during Family Meetings or budget reviews.
Manage your one-time or recurring gifts online here. ACH gifts are preferred, as card transactions incur a fee that reduces the amount received.
You can also give in-person when you join us for worship. We have multiple offering boxes on the back wall of the sanctuary.
